Newborn Photography at Home in Portland, Maine

Willys and Anna reach out wanting photographs of this time of transition from a family of three to four. We first met up in the summer for a maternity session, and then reconnected in late fall when they welcomed their second. They spent the morning reading their favorite books, snuggling on the couch, making art, and stepping outside on the front porch for a few portraits in the cold. To me, these photographs are a beautiful time capsule of this current season of their lives. There’s a magic photographs in your own home. With everyone having an ease and comfort to them, that would otherwise not be possible.
