I want to help. As a documentary photographer, my approach to branding photography is a little different. You don’t have to worry about traditional or formal headshots. Ultimately, I want your brand photos to feel like YOU, lived-in, real, and creative.

Creative branding photography on analog film
I’m a Maine-based branding photographer who lives in the Midcoast with my husband and our beloved cat. Growing up with a grandmother equally in love with photography, I was introduced early to the magic of 35mm film. With a painter as a mom as well, I knew I always wanted to follow in their footsteps to become an artist. I had a bit of a long, circuitous journey to get here but photography very much feels like what I'm meant to do.
I’m happiest with a whole bunch of film cameras in hand, noticing & observing. And while photography is a medium that helps me slow down and create a dream world out of the ordinary, it is not my only creative practice. I am a sewist, gardener, hiker, avid reader, movie-watcher, and hobby-collector.
I have so much love for fellow creatives passionate about their own work. I want to hear all about your process and inspiration and collaborate to create photographs that feel authentic to you.
Maine branding photography session details
Session includes:
A collaborative experience unique to you, including guidance through the whole process for best timing to shoot, locations, styling, and a follow-ups throughout to help you prepare. Ideally, we will first meet in person over coffee or tea to chat about your brand, vision, and ideas.
Up 90 minutes photo coverage
40+ photos delivered via an online gallery, for you to print and post as you wish
Photos delivered in ~6 weeks
Cost: $850. 30% deposit secures date, and remainder due at time of session

I am based in Bath, Maine, but available to travel nationwide. I will travel within about 2 hours of Bath Maine before adding on a travel fee. But if you would like me to book me for outside of that radius, please get in touch for a custom quote!

While I may give you some prompts, I'm much more interested in sitting back and seeing where the moment takes us. If we are in your studio or you are able to show me a bit of the process involved in your business I find it helps to put you at ease and create a diverse gallery that really showcases your work and your process.
Sessions with me tend to be laid back, natural, and focused on documenting candid authentic emotion and connection.

Pricing starts at $850 for my signature branding sessions. These sessions are up to 90 minutes long and include a pre-session meeting (either in person or over the phone) to chat about inspiration, ideas, and your brand.

Before the session we will meet in-person (over tea or coffee if you are local) or via phone to start the planning process together. I really want to learn more about you as an individual and a business-owner. These chats will help us plan the session and iron out any logistics of location and timing.
All sessions are shot exclusively on film (35mm and medium format). Film is scanned at a high-resolution and uploaded to an online gallery for you to view and download. The gallery includes 50+ film images.

There is something incredibly magical about film. When I load a 35mm roll of film into my camera, I have 36 opportunities to make art. From an aesethic standpoint, the colors of film are unmatched compared to digital. From a process standpoint, film forces me to slow down, and in doing so, capture moments more intentionally. What this means for you is intimate unexpected moments captured on a timeless medium.
With film there is a degree of chaos, uncertainty, and imperfection. When you take part in a film session there will be creativity, beauty, and unanticipated magic!

When we collaborate about the session details, we will pick a location! Whether that’s in your studio, home, a favorite park or trail or beach. Every session is unique, I want the session to not only create beautiful photographs for you, but I also want the location and backdrop to be significant to your business and brand.

When you inquire with me, we will work together to pick a date that works for you. I typically suggest reaching out about 2 months before your desired timeframe for a session so we have plenty of time to plan.
For outdoor sessions, early mornings (before 11am), or afternoon times in the hours leading up to sunset tend to work best.
