Unique Engagement Photography Around Home in Maine

Katie and Kyle wanted photographs of a typical evening at home. Visiting their favorite spots around town in central Maine. We spent this early summer afternoon driving around to the places integral to their relationship. The local forest path, the community garden, and their front porch. It felt laid back, comfortable, and true to them. They even worked on tending some of the flowers and plants they were growing for their wedding!

It all felt a bit like a date night. Grounding the engagement session in real activities, like walking through the woods and working with the plants, helped ease a bit of the uncomfortableness that is so natural when it comes to getting photographs taken.
