I take a candid, natural approach to maternity sessions. No need to perform - just show up as you are in this fleeting time of life. These sessions are for those wanting artful photographs that are authentic to you. Photographs that feel lived in, honest, and exist beyond the trends of traditional maternity photographs.

I’m a Maine-based maternity + family photographer, who loves to document everyday life and human connection. I believe there is magic in the ordinary that demands to be seen; imperfect, authentic moments in time that tell your story. Much of my work comes from a commitment to showcasing real & diverse families. I will be there to document those little and big moments that make your life yours!
Where I offer maternity sessions
I always recommend selecting a location for your maternity sessions where you feel most comfortable. This will allow us to create photographs that feel true and unique to you. Some of those locations could be at your home, favorite cafe, local park, or beach. I am always up for your creative ideas for locations!
I am based in Bath, Maine and travel throughout the state for sessions. If you are interested in a maternity session outside of Maine, get in touch to chat about a travel session.
What makes my maternity photography approach different?
As a Maine maternity photographer I take a laid back, empathetic approach to my sessions. I don’t want you to feel like you need to pose or perform during our session. Rather, I will help us find the good light and provide a little guidance as needed, but really I just want you to feel seen in this transitional time. These are the photographs you can show your kids - our parents ‘before us.’ My maternity sessions are full of ease, artful, and rooted in your everyday life.
In the last three years alone, I’ve worked with over 100 families to tell their story through unique photographs, and in 2025 I was named in the top 20 family photographers ‘Ones to Watch’ list by Heartful Magazine. I travel throughout the state (and beyond) to document families in their homes and all of their favorite, special places. My approach is grounded in intentionality - creating non-traditional family photographs on analog film that celebrate real, everyday life.

When you inquire with me, we will work together to pick a date that works for you. I can work around naptimes, activities, and events. Depending on your ideas and availability, we can find the best time that works for you. For outdoor sessions, I typically suggest early morning (before 11am), or afternoon times in the hours leading up to sunset.

The timing for a maternity session is totally up to you. I have anywhere from 25-35 weeks tends to be a good time to plan ahead for session.

I am based in Bath, Maine, but available to travel nationwide. You can read more about my travel radius in my packages. But if you would like me to book me for outside of that radius, please get in touch for a custom quote!
And as a Maine family photographer, I have a special place in my heart for my local families that call Maine home. I offer a little 15% discount (automatically applied at checkout) for any Maine residents who book me for an at-home session.

All of my sessions are done on 100% analog film!
With film there is a degree of chaos, uncertainty, and imperfection. When you take part in a film session there will be creativity, beauty, and unanticipated magic!

I am a documentary photographer, meaning I do not want to interfere with the natural flow of your life. I'd much rather meet you where you are take perfectly imperfect photographs. While I may give you some prompts, I'm much more interested in sitting back and seeing where the moment takes us. Sessions with me tend to be laid back, natural, and focused on documenting candid authentic emotion and connection.
I want your pictures to reflect who you truly are, and through a careful, quiet, and slow process of observing I create art with you. Photographs tell the stories of our lives, serving as proof for us and future generations. Proof that we lived a life injected with magic, love, emotion, and art.

Pricing starts at $950 for my signature family sessions. These sessions are one hour long and tend to work for creating artful photographs of this season. If you are interested in a newborn session as well I offer sweet little discount if you book both with me. See below for the maternity/newborn package details!

All sessions are shot exclusively on film (35mm and medium format). Film is scanned at a high-resolution and uploaded to an online gallery for you to view and download. In the lead up to the session I also provide support with wardrobe and location (if desired).
About 4ish weeks after your session you will receive your gallery link. Within the online gallery you can purchase prints and albums as well to take your photographs off a screen and into your hands.

SIGNATURE STORYTELLING SESSION
Together we will collaborate to document your families unique story over the course of about an hour. These sessions can be unique to you - in your home, outdoors, or another spot special to you and your loved ones. These are perfect for making family photographs in a laid back environment. We will find the patch of light in your home or yard, or take a walk around your favorite place. You will walk away with portraits and candid photographs from our time together. For locations further than 80 miles from Bath, I will charge an additional travel cost.
Includes:
Guidance on best times for the session that work around your schedule, a custom location that is special to you, & help styling (as much or as little as you wish)
50+ photos delivered via an online gallery, for you to print and post as you wish
Photos delivered in 5 weeks
Cost: $950. 30% deposit secures date, and remainder due at time of session

DAY IN THE LIFE
These are half-day (up to 4 hours) to document what makes your everyday extra special. We’ll spend a slow morning or a long afternoon together, documenting your unique family – all of the smiles, laughs, and hugs. The longer timeframe allows us to slow down, chat, and create a comfortable space for photographing those moments that make your life your own. Whether that be a morning eating breakfast at home and a trip to the lake, or time with family playing board games and making dinner - these sessions are perfect for the memory-keepers who want photographs of how their life feels. Photographs they can put into an album and look back. For locations further than 100 miles from Bath, I will charge an additional travel cost.
Includes:
A collaborative experience unique to you, including: guidance through the whole process for best times to schedule the session (with bedtimes and naps in mind), talking through choosing locations/activities, & help styling (as much or as little as you wish)
80+ film photos delivered via an online gallery, for you to print and post as you wish
Photos delivered in 5 weeks
A photo album with selected photographs from our session
Cost: $1,650 30% deposit secures date, and remainder due at time of session

MATERNITY & NEWBORN PACKAGE
For those looking to document this season of change. Two session: maternity & newborn - so you can have photographs of your growing family. Each session is about an hour and a half located within 80 miles of Bath, Maine. For locations further than 80 miles from Bath, I will charge an additional travel fee. We can collaborate on the location, styling, and activity to create photographs that represent your family. These sessions are designed to capture a little slice of your life - unposed, and with a documentary approach.
Includes:
Two ~1 hour sessions - one maternity and one newborn. They can occur up to 6 months apart. Newborn sessions can take place up to 5 months after birth.
A collaborative experience unique to you, including guidance through the whole process for best times to shoot (with bedtimes and naps in mind), a custom location that is special to you, help styling (as much or as little as you wish), and a follow-ups throughout to prepare
50+ photos (from each session) delivered via an online gallery, for you to print and post as you wish
Photos delivered in 5 weeks
Cost: $1,550. 30% deposit secures date, and remainder due at time of session. Note: Maternity session cost is $950, and when you schedule newborn session, the remaining $600 is due.
