An Engagement Session in Portland Maine

For every wedding I offer a complimentary engagement session. It’s less about the photos (though I do want to give you some cool ones), and more about our time together. Building trust + getting comfortable together. That way, we feel a bit like old friends on the wedding day. And after our time exploring Portland together this spring, I will go to Sam & Gino’s wedding truly feeling like an old friend.

They traveled up to Maine from Philly to scope out their wedding venue and spend some time vacationing together. We explored the streets and shops of Portland - grabbing a drink at Maine & Loire, looking at vinyl at Moody Lords, and taking a walk at Kettle Cove. I learned about their incredible taste in music - an eclectic mix ranging from the classic to Ethiopian jazz. I learned about how they first met in college, their shared love of exploring new places, their special dinner parties, and their pets. We exchanged recipes and movie recommendations. It was truly an experience of getting to know one another ahead of their wedding.
