Janeth and Gabe wanted photographs to celebrate their elopement in Maine. They flew in from the southern US and this was their first time in Maine. As history lovers, they were drawn to the lighthouses and architecture of small towns in the Midcoast. After chatting about a few different locations, they settled on Damariscotta & a drive over to Pemaquid Beach/Lighthouse. These spots offered a a quaint quintessential Maine downtown, a rocky shoreline & lighthouse, AND a sandy beach for a beautiful sunset. We spent about an hour and a half together in the fall creating these portraits that really bring out their personalities.
